Chloe's Nutty Granola

The secret here is using almond butter to bind the mix rather than excess oil or sugar as it creates a flavoursome, low sugar blend, perfect for every day.


300g rolled oats

20g jumbo oats

100g chopped mixed nuts (I like cashews, brazils and almonds)

20g sunflower seeds

20g melted coconut oil

50g smooth almond butter

50g syrup or honey

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 160 degrees Celcius.

  2. Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix well. Transfer into a baking tray and spread out to 2cm thick. Pack the mix down together.

  3. Bake for about 15 minutes, tossing and re-packing half way though.
